honest mistake - Bluegame yacht
Honest Mistake is a fantastic 21.86m (70ft) yacht that comes from the Italian shipbuilders Bluegame. This model, the BGX70, has been in production since 2020. When presented at the Dusseldorf 2020 Boat Show, she was awarded “motoryacht of the year”. Before this, at the Cannes 2019 Yachting Festival, she was awarded “most avant-garde yacht”.
The BGX70 has a beam of 5.6m and sits in the water with a 1.6m draft. She has a fiberglass / GRP hull and carbon fibre superstructure and is powered by twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS engines (1000hp). Her fuel tank holds 4,200 litres and she boasts a maximum speed of 30 knots, while cruises comfortably at 25 knots.
Bluegame is a proud brand of the prestigious Sanlorenzo Group, where innovation is a common driver of their DNA. The BGX70’s head-turning exterior design comes from the collaboration work between the renowned Zuccon International Project design studio, and architect Luca Santella who is the Head of Product Strategy at Bluegame, and is also Sanlorenzo’s Head of Design and Style. Her striking iconic reserved windshield is only previously found on tugs and war ships. Naval architect Lou Codega is responsible for her high-performance hull shape.
Her exterior boasts huge multi-purpose areas that are functional and allow for safe deck operations. Noteably, the flat and broad, open stern grants her a magnificent beach club party area and swim platform when at anchor, but is also a boat deck large enough to stow a 4m tender and a jetski when underway.
She has a large dining/seating area and sunpads forward of the main deck, plus sunpads on the main deck sunroof which have uninterrupted 360° views of your surroundings. Furthermore, there is a dining/lounge area inside and outside on the main deck aft of the helm, which also has 360° views.
From the beach club area on the lower deck, the outside environment gently enters the vessel through magnificent, angled sliding doors where you find a low-level spacious lounge that is glazed on 3 sides. Internally, the percentage of glass plays a fundamental role as it provides an atmosphere where the sea and scenery merge and become one with the interior.
From the lounge area we continue to the full-beam owner’s suite, dead amidships. This suite has access to a private lounge area which, uniquely, can be converted into a guest suite if necessary. There is also a second guest suite providing a total of 3 en suite cabins, accommodating up to 6 guests overnight. Additionally, she has accommodation for 2 experienced crew members who will ensure a comfortable and relaxed experience onboard.
The base price for a BGX70 model with no additional extras is around €3,000,000.
Honest Mistake is currently located in Singapore and is moored in the prestigious marina at Sentosa Cove.
